Cableguys HalfTime VST plugin creates instant half-speed effect that you can use in Trap, EDM, Hip-Hop, Techno, House and other genres.
Leading synthesizers mutate into heavyweight EDM bass monsters. Percussion condenses, expanding, acquiring new rhythmic possibilities.
Just add a plugin to create an instant effect or experiment with powerful creative controls. HalfTime works with loops, virtual instruments, or even live audio.
Three speed modes add a classic effect, dense harmonics and shuffling pumping rhythms, as well as fourfold reproduction. The adjustable loop length allows for slowing down several measures, funky syncopations and completely new grooves.
A large button in the middle of the interface provides the half-time effect. There are slides on each side to create increments of gradual rise and disappearance, with instant values up to eight bars. There are three different modes. 2x mode is the usual half-day effect, 4x is the fourth speed and 1.5x gives you the triplet / swing feel. This mode also provides perfect fifth harmonies when used on melodic materials.
There is an Easy button at the back. Reduce values, save transit which is well suited for drum and percussion sounds, and excessive values prevent clicks and splashes with continuous sounds. The latest version of Cableguys Halftime can even go up to 500m, so you can achieve artistic results like waves. If you only want to vary a certain part of the frequency, with a known band interruption, you can select frequencies between 25 Hz and 17.5 kHz.
